So anyway, here ya go...5 random pictures from my week.
We've been working on some Jim Dine inspired painted hearts during our 'learning center' art station. This is only the first step. It never ceases to amaze me how much kinders love to paint. I love it too, but there never seems to be enough time. I'm glad I MADE myself make time for it.
Monsters Love to Race to 30 Place Value Game. I made this for my classroom last year after being inspired by Oceans of First Grade. I knew my kinders wouldn't be able to start out with Race to 100 or even 50, to remade it to 'race to 30' to get them started. It's a classroom favorite. After getting Mrs. A's ok, I made an Easter Freebie that you can grab up if your interested. Just click on the picture above and it will take you to it.
Medial sound sort freebie for your sensory table. I placed the vowel labels on some little buckets on the window ledge next to my sensory table for my kinders to sort their picture into as they found them. If you didn't pick them up before, you ahead and click on the picture to get your freebie.
My kinders loved making these Valentine's bunnies to put on their Valentine's card bags. These are from my friend Hadar over at Miss Kindergarten Love. Aren't they sweet. She has the most amazing little craftivities.
My kinders are rocking out their addition to 10 with this self-correcting addition practice mat. It's part of my Loving Math Stations Galore pack.
And that's it for Five for Friday.
